## Educational Qualification

## Service Line

## Key Responsibilities
* Install, configure, and support **IBM Z Digital Integration Hub (zDIH)** and its associated middleware components.
* Administer **Data Virtualization Manager (DVM)** and **Event Publisher** to enable secure integration between mainframe and distributed applications.
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize zDIH performance, availability, and connectivity across enterprise environments.
* Develop and maintain **Unix/Linux shell scripts** (Bash, Korn Shell) to automate deployments, configuration management, system monitoring, and operational tasks.
* Build automation solutions for log analysis, system health checks, scheduled jobs, and alert generation.
* Design, develop, and maintain **RESTful APIs** to securely expose mainframe data through zDIH services.
* Implement API security using authentication mechanisms such as **OAuth 2.0**, API keys, and mutual TLS (mTLS).
* Manage Unix/Linux servers supporting middleware applications, ensuring system stability and optimal performance.
* Perform system monitoring, capacity planning, and operating system tuning to improve application reliability.
* Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, operational procedures, runbooks, and standard operating guidelines.
* Work with IBM technical support to resolve product issues and manage support cases when required.
* Participate in a **24x7 on-call support rotation** to ensure continuous service availability.
## Technical & Professional Requirements
* Strong knowledge of **IBM Z Mainframe** technologies and z/OS environments.
* Hands-on experience with **JCL**, **TSO**, **DB2**, and **IMS** in data-sharing environments.
* Experience with replication technologies such as **IBM IIDR CDC**, **CDA**, and **Q Replication**.
* Proficiency in **Unix System Services (USS)** and shell scripting using **Bash** or **Korn Shell (ksh)**.
* Good understanding of REST APIs, API troubleshooting, and secure integration practices.
* Knowledge of **mainframe security concepts** and enterprise authentication mechanisms.
* Experience monitoring and troubleshooting middleware and distributed application environments.
* Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
