**Quality Assurance Manager – Manufacturing**

## Job Purpose
Drive quality excellence across cylindrical parts and flat component manufacturing by implementing robust quality systems, minimizing customer complaints, reducing the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), and strengthening inspection and measurement processes to ensure consistent product quality.
## Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems for cylindrical parts and flat component manufacturing.
* Prepare, review, and continuously improve Quality Control Process Charts (QCPC) and control plans for critical components.
* Evaluate new product development (NPD) and engineering design changes to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
* Conduct Process Non-Conformance Analysis (PNCAT) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
* Monitor quarantine areas, review non-conforming materials, and ensure timely disposition of quality issues.
* Improve process capability by achieving and sustaining target Cp/Cpk values for Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) characteristics.
* Perform regular process audits, product audits, and quality system assessments.
* Coordinate annual validation activities for critical and technologically significant components.
* Monitor calibration schedules for inspection instruments and ensure timely compliance.
* Establish advanced measurement systems, including multi-gauge inspection solutions, to improve accuracy and productivity.
* Implement inspection checkpoints and firewall inspection stations to prevent defective products from reaching customers.
* Review Product Process Change Notes (PPCN) and ensure quality requirements are incorporated into manufacturing processes.
* Participate in Cross-Functional Team (CFT) initiatives and quality improvement projects.
* Train and mentor production and quality teams to improve technical skills and quality awareness.
* Conduct periodic performance reviews and promote continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
## Technical & Professional Requirements
* Strong understanding of manufacturing quality systems and quality assurance methodologies.
* Experience in quality control for machining, cylindrical parts, or precision manufacturing environments.
* Knowledge of **Quality Control Process Charts (QCPC)**, **Control Plans**, **PPAP**, **FMEA**, **MSA**, and **SPC**.
* Ability to analyze process capability using **Cp/Cpk** and other statistical quality tools.
* Experience in process audits, product audits, and root cause analysis.
* Familiarity with calibration systems, metrology equipment, gauges, and inspection methods.
* Knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, and dimensional inspection techniques.
* Experience with non-conformance management, corrective actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
