We are looking for an experienced Statistician – Manager to support data-driven decision-making through advanced statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and software-based analytical solutions. The ideal candidate should have experience in the Banking or Financial Services sector, strong expertise in statistical methodologies, and the ability to develop analytical applications that support business operations.

Educational Qualification
Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline from a recognized university.

Experience (Desirable)
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Statistician in a Bank, Financial Institution, or any organization handling large-scale databases.
Strong experience in statistical modeling, data analysis, and forecasting techniques.
Hands-on expertise with statistical software such as:
R
SAS
Experience working with large datasets and generating business insights.
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Statistical Analysis
Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
Develop predictive models, forecasting techniques, and analytical reports.
Apply statistical methods to support business planning and decision-making.
Software Development & Analytics
Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that support statistical analysis and reporting.
Develop clean, secure, efficient, and well-documented code following the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Conduct unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Collaboration
Work closely with project managers, software developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and designers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality analytical solutions.
Translate complex statistical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
Maintenance & Continuous Improvement
Maintain and enhance existing analytical applications and statistical models.
Ensure software quality, reliability, and compliance with organizational standards.
Recommend improvements to analytical processes and reporting methodologies.
Agile Development
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Deliver assigned tasks within project timelines while maintaining quality standards.
