Role Description The Electrical Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tirunelveli. The Electrical Technician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting electrical drawings, wiring panels and fixtures, performing routine inspections, and identifying faults in electrical circuits. The role involves collaborating with engineers and site supervisors, documenting maintenance activities, and recommending improvements to enhance system reliability. The Electrical Technician will also assist in testing new installations, preparing basic reports, and ensuring tools and materials are used efficiently.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Maintenance and handling Electrical Equipment.
Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Electricity and Electrical Engineering principles.
Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical issues.
Relevant technical diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge of electrical safety standards and local regulations is beneficial.
Ability to read electrical schematics and construction drawings is an advantage.
Previous experience as an Electrical Technician in construction or industrial projects is desirable.
Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
