Assistant Manager/Manager- Factory HR

Location: Madukkarai, Coimbatore

Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years

Industry Preference: Manufacturing / Factory / Industrial Setup

Duty Shift- Rotational shift (Day & Night) || 9hours



Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Manager HR to lead and manage end-to-end factory HR operations at our Madukkarai, Coimbatore location. The role requires strong expertise in workmen management, labour law compliance, statutory governance, factory talent acquisition, and industrial relations.



Workmen Management & Industrial Relations
· Manage overall workmen engagement and maintain harmonious industrial relations within the factory premises.

· Handle union interactions, grievance management, disciplinary actions, domestic enquiries, and employee conflict resolution.

· Ensure smooth workforce operations with high employee discipline and productivity.

· Support management in handling sensitive labour-related matters strategically and legally.

Labour Law Compliance & Statutory Management
· Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable labour laws and factory statutory requirements.

· Prepare, maintain, and submit statutory reports, registers, returns, and documentation within timelines.

· Handle compliance related to Factory Act, PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, CLRA, Minimum Wages, Contract Labour Compliance, etc.

· Maintain readiness for labour inspections, statutory audits, and compliance reviews.

Labour Court & Legal Handling
· Coordinate and manage labour court matters, legal notices, disputes, settlements, and related documentation.

· Liaise with legal consultants, government authorities, labour officers, and compliance agencies.

· Provide proactive support in mitigating industrial disputes and legal risks.

Talent Acquisition – Factory Positions
· Handle end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar and factory-based positions.

· Source candidates from local areas, nearby industrial belts, ITIs, and manpower vendors.

· Manage hiring drives, local recruitment campaigns, contractor coordination, and onboarding processes.

HR Operations & MIS
· Generate and manage HR MIS reports, dashboards, attendance reports, manpower analytics, attrition analysis, and compliance trackers.

· Maintain HR documentation, employee records, and workforce databases accurately.

· Support payroll inputs, contractor billing validation, and workforce reconciliation activities.

Labour Codes & Policy Implementation
· Demonstrate strong understanding of upcoming Labour Codes and support implementation readiness.

· Ensure HR policies and factory practices align with evolving labour regulations and organizational standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

· Minimum 5 years of experience in Factory HR / Plant HR operations.

· Strong exposure to manufacturing or industrial work environment.

· Hands-on experience in workmen management and labour law compliance.

· Experience in handling labour court matters and statutory audits.

· Strong recruitment capability for blue-collar workforce hiring.

· Good analytical and MIS reporting skills.

· Proficiency in MS Excel and HR reporting tools.

· Must be fluent in Tamil , Hindi and English language.

· Must be a local candidates.

· Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.



Educational Qualification

MBA / PGDM in HR or MSW preferred.

Additional certification in Labour Laws or Industrial Relations will be an advantage.
