Role Description This is a full-time, on-site TGT Hindi teaching role based in Chengalpattu. The educator will plan and deliver engaging Hindi lessons for middle school and secondary classes in accordance with CBSE curriculum requirements. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching language and literature, assessing student performance, maintaining classroom discipline, and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves designing activities to improve reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills in Hindi, along with integrating technology and creative methods into teaching. The teacher will participate in staff meetings, parent–teacher interactions, school events, and professional development initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong command of Hindi language, including grammar, literature, and effective communication skills.
Demonstrated classroom management skills and ability to create an inclusive, student-centered learning environment.
Experience in lesson planning, student assessment, and use of activity-based or experiential teaching methods.
Familiarity with CBSE curriculum, evaluation practices, and educational standards for middle and secondary school.
Bachelor’s degree in Hindi or related field; B.Ed or equivalent teacher training qualification preferred.
Ability to collaborate with colleagues, engage with parents, and participate in school programs and co-curricular activities.
Comfort with basic educational technology and digital tools to support classroom teaching and student learning.
Prior teaching experience in a CBSE school setting is an advantage.
