Role Description The Offset Printing Operator is a full-time, on-site role based at our facility in Chengalpattu. The role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring offset printing machines to produce high-quality printed materials according to job specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing plates, inks, and paper; performing test runs; adjusting machine settings; and ensuring accurate color, registration, and alignment. The operator will inspect outputs for defects, perform basic maintenance and cleaning on equipment, and coordinate with prepress and bindery teams to maintain efficient production workflows. The role also requires following safety procedures, maintaining production records, and meeting deadlines while minimizing waste.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in Printing and Print Production to manage offset press operations and meet quality and volume requirements.
Candidates should possess skills in Printer Support to handle routine troubleshooting, machine adjustments, and basic maintenance.
Candidates should possess skills in Bindery to assist with finishing processes such as cutting, folding, and binding when required.
Candidates should possess skills in Inkjet to support auxiliary digital print tasks and work with hybrid print environments.
Experience operating offset printing presses in a commercial or industrial setting is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret job tickets, specifications, and color standards, with strong attention to detail and quality control.
Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with safety practices in a production environment.
Secondary school education or vocational training in printing technology or a related field is beneficial.
Ability to stand for extended periods, handle materials safely, and work in shifts as required.
