Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Service Engineer role based in the Greater Madurai Area. The Service Engineer will install, configure, and commission diagnostic equipment, ensuring proper operation and minimal downtime. Daily responsibilities include performing routine preventive maintenance, diagnosing faults, and carrying out repairs on laboratory and imaging devices. The role involves responding to service calls, providing technical support to internal teams and end users, and documenting all service activities in line with company standards. The Service Engineer will also coordinate with vendors and suppliers for spare parts, adhere to safety and compliance guidelines, and support equipment upgrades and performance optimization.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills to identify, analyze, and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site visits, installation, and commissioning of diagnostic or similar technical equipment.
Candidates should possess solid Communication abilities for clear interaction with medical staff, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities to guide users, answer equipment-related queries, and provide training where required.
Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for performing preventive maintenance, corrective actions, and reliable equipment upkeep.
Candidates with knowledge of medical or diagnostic equipment, basic electronics or instrumentation, and safety standards will be preferred.
Candidates should have a diploma or degree in engineering, electronics, biomedical engineering, or a related technical field.
Candidates should be able to work independently, manage multiple service requests, and maintain accurate technical documentation.
